Wine Down in the Parks is the SMPS’ showcase of not only three gorgeous San Marco parks, but many of our local San Marco vendors. Now, more than ever, it is important to the SMPS that we support local small business. All food, beverage, and music at this WDIP event is provided by locals — the overwhelming majority of whom call San Marco home. Guests enjoy a wine-filled evening of al fresco fun while supporting the continued maintenance, preservation, and improvement of San Marco’s historic parks.
Please join us to experience the charm of Whatley, Davin, and Balis Parks on this magical evening filled with live music, tapas, craft beer, wine, and cocktails from several of the neighborhood’s best bars, restaurants, and musicians. Each event stop will feature a different theme and flavor that you won’t want to miss!

What safety measures are being taken? The event will be held with some safety modifications. Masks will be required to be properly worn when: 1) social distancing of at least six feet is not feasible, 2) approaching a staffed event table, and 3) approaching food or beverage tables within designated color-coded food & beverage zones. All drinkware and food service items will be single-use.

As guests of Wine Down in the Parks 2020, all attendees in my party and I agree:
Symptom Consent
If I am diagnosed with COVID-19 or am experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms (i.e. fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, new loss of taste or smell, etc.), I will not attend this event unless all three of the following criteria are met: (1) at least 72 hours (three full days) have passed since recovery (resolution of fever without the use of any fever-reducing medications); (2) respiratory symptoms have improved (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and (3) at least 10 days have passed since positive diagnosis and symptoms first appeared. If I am unable to attend the event because I have COVID-19 or related symptoms, I may contact info@smpsjax.com before noon on Oct. 17, 2020 to initiate a full refund.
Safety Consent
I will properly wear a mask over my nose and mouth at all required times when: (1) social distancing of at least six feet is not feasible, (2) I am approaching a staffed event table, and (3) I am approaching food or beverage tables within designated color-coded zones. I will maintain social distance of at least six feet from others not in my party whenever possible. Disposable masks will be provided if I should need one. I recognize that if I fail to observe these rules, I may be asked to depart from the event, and I will not be provided a refund.
Risk Consent
I understand that by attending this event I am exposing myself to the risk of being around and/or in the same proximity as individuals who may have unknowingly been exposed to COVID-19, which poses the risk that I may become ill, including contraction of COVID-19. Notwithstanding, I wish to assume the risk of attending this event, including the risk that myself or others in my party may become ill. Accordingly, in consideration of the ability to attend this event, I, individually and on behalf of each of my heirs, agree to, and do hereby, discharge, release, and waive any claims, damages, lawsuits, and/or causes of action (together, “Claims”) against the San Marco Preservation Society and its affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, assigns, successors, agents, contractors, representatives, staff, employees, volunteers, vendors, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Releasees”) arising out of or relating to my attendance at this event, including any Claims for personal injury, illness, or death to any person arising out of or in any way related to my attendance at this event (including by reason of exposure to COVID-19 or another illness) whether caused in part or in whole by the negligence or other actions of Releasees or any other person. I further covenant not to sue the Releasees for any Claim released hereunder, and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees with respect to any such Claims.
