This public meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the closure of the Florida East Coast Railway highway-railroad at-grade crossings on Gary Street and Naldo Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida. There will be an open house from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm for document review and public comment. There is no presentation. Written comments will be accepted at the meeting or may be sent to the project contact listed below and must be postmarked/time stamped on or before February 4, 2019 to be included in the official record. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. This public meeting will discuss the addition of a new fishing platform and other potential additions to Riverfront Park, the recently reopened waterfront park that sustained bulkhead damage from hurricanes Michael and Irma. All interested parties are invited to attend.
