Teen River Service Saturdays: Bioswale and Park Cleanup

1513 Lasalle St, Jacksonville, FL 32207
Come help us maintain the Bioswale in front of the San Marco Library. Learn about the benefits of natural water filtration and drainage, while protecting nearby waterways from stormwater and runoff. Tasks will include mulching, watering, weeding, and general maintenance. There will also be an opportunity to cleanup Southside Park located adjacent to the library.
We will supply all the bags and gloves… we just need YOU and your help!!
What to bring:
- Water
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Heavy duty gloves (if desired)
- Boots or closed toe shoes
- Completed waiver form (only if under 18; email Emily for a copy)
- Supplies like Shovels, Rakes, Grabbers, Rope
