Preservation Hall was originally built in 1888 as the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Arlington in the Carpenter Gothic style. The Hall was moved to the MOSH campus, then to Fletcher Park on Atlantic Boulevard and renovated in 1994, where it became an historic event venue managed by the San Marco Preservation Society.

San Marco Preservation Hall Coordinator Position

Position Description:
San Marco Preservation Hall Coordinator – approx. 10 hours per week (varying and flexible hours; some weekends)

This position is a combination of remote and venue work.

Skills/Qualifications:
*Experience in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Square, and PayPal platforms
*General computer skills
*Attention to detail
*Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
*Professional and courteous both in person and in written communication
*Events experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities and Duties:
*Manage and reply to inbound event inquiry calls and messages (voice and emails)
*Reply and work with clients on coordinating tours, discussing event details, etc.
*Occasional venue tours with clients, scheduled at Coordinator and client’s convenience
*Email communication and coordination of event fees and contracts, as well as post-event procedures
*Open, close, and restock Preservation Hall for scheduled events
*Any day-of coordination as needed
*Management of Hall calendar for events, payment deadlines, tours, etc.
*Communicate all executed rental contracts with clients on behalf of PH; file those with the City
*Coordinate event schedules, payments, and other information with SMPS Administrator
*Promote the overall health, wellness, success, and vitality of the San Marco community
