San Marco Preservation Society is teaming up with St John’s Riverkeeper for a recreational, educational, and service outing to showcase San Marco’s River Oaks Park, Craig Creek, and the St John’s River. The event will include a walk through the park to collect trash and debris with stops to discuss the park vegetation and the role it plays in sustaining river health. A master naturalist will identify native species to be maintained and invasive species to be removed. A representative from the St Johns Riverkeeper will discuss the role of the park and Craig Creek in sustaining St Johns River health.
